The city of Kemerovo is the capital of the Kemerovo region of Russia. The famous Russian Kuzbass. The city of miners.
To be honest, I didn’t expect much but the city really surprised me in a very nice way. Well-groomed, clean. Ideological and patriotic. It’s felt right in the air. People are very welcome and open, they were happy to get in touch and reacted to me with camera with sincere interest. The city is so open and proud of itself in a Soviet way, in the best sense of this word.
